According to those who established the GoFundMe, the mother was at work while the fire started. The Watertown Police Department confirmed after the fire was extinguished that three people died.Īuthorities did not identify the victims but it is now being reported that they were children. The blaze was first reported just after 12:30am Friday in the 100 block of Western Avenue.įirefighters attempted to save three residents still trapped inside but were driven back by the intense heat, smoke, and flames.
